As you know, no ILEA celebration is complete without our Alumni.
The final chapter of our 30th Anniversary celebrations brought us together once more — this time for a special Hungarian Alumni event hosted at the residence of the Chief of Mission of the U.S. Embassy.
The evening featured a round-table discussion between U.S. representatives and Hungarian police leaders, focusing on ILEA’s evolving role in shaping the future of law enforcement and combating transnational organized crime.
A huge thank you to the 60 Hungarian ILEA graduates as well as our distinguished guests, Senior Bureau Official Cart Weiland, Chargé d’Affaires Robert Palladino, INL Director, Megan Oates, INL Global Program Director Julie Anderson, and ILEA Program Officer, Laila Trombati.

Kicking off 2025 in style, we’re proud to announce the graduation of this year’s first ILEA (as well as Anti-corruption Series) course!
The A.S. - Public Corruption course, instructed by the FBI, explored how public corruption cases are investigated in the United States, including those involving federal officials, judges, and law enforcement. Participants also examined law enforcement ethics, case studies, and tools to strengthen anti-corruption efforts in their agencies.
Congratulations to our graduates from Czechia, Kosovo, North Macedonia, and Ukraine! Stay connected through the ILEA Alumni Portal: https://alumni.ilea.state.gov/
