Joint Exercise GEMA BHAKTI is a Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff exercise between U.S. PACOM and Tentara Nasional Indonesia (TNI, Indonesian Armed Forces).
GEMA BHAKTI (“echo of good deeds”), a nine-day bilateral staff exercise, emphasizes Joint, Operational-level planning for a scenario which includes Humanitarian Assistance/Disaster Relief and maritime security (MARSEC)/maritime defense (MARDEF) in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The Tentara Nasional Indonesia (TNI, Indonesian Armed Forces) and the US Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) held a Joint bilateral, Joint Force exercise focused on operational-level planning and ex*****on of combined military operations called Gema Bhatkti 22 in Jakarta Indonesia in September of 2022.

Exercise Gema Bhakti 2022 is in full swing. Gema Bhakti, Indonesian for "echo of good deeds," is a staff exercise between USINDOPACOM and the Tentara Nasional Indonesia (TNI, Indonesian Armed Forces). It is designed to improve joint, operational-level staff planning and processes and promote positive military relations.

Gema Bhakti 2022 - the planning groups KOGABWILHAN have been formed.
The teams will now work the joint planning process for this years scenario. With the goal of improving TNI, U.S. forces, Joint/Combined, Operational-level planning in response to a regional crisis and to enhance interoperability and professionalism of their forces.
