The Embassy of Finland in Jakarta will be closed:

- on Wednesday, 27 May 2026, and will resume operations on Thursday, 28 May 2026.
- on Monday, 1 June 2026, and will resume operations on Tuesday, 2 June 2026.

Earlier this month, the Nordic Night, the biggest annual event organized by the four Nordic Embassies, Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden, took place in Jakarta. 🇩🇰🇫🇮🇳🇴🇸🇪

With the theme Midsummer, the event highlighted Nordic society and the Nordic way of life. Just as in Finland we embrace sisu, the Finnish spirit of resilience and quiet determination, this celebration reflected the strength, warmth, and cultural richness shared across the Nordic region.

The event was attended by the Guest of Honor, H.E. Abdul Mu’ti, Minister of Primary and Secondary Education. The event was also graced by the presence of Hanif Faisol Nurofiq, Vice Minister of the Coordinating Ministry for Food Affairs; Veronica Tan, Vice Minister of Women’s Empowerment & Child Protection; Stella Christie, Vice Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology; Rano Karno, Vice Governor of DKI Jakarta; and national figure Yenny Wahid.
