Within FAPA, there are 9 different pharmaceutical sections i.e. Phytopharmacy and Pharmacopeia, Community Pharmacy, Hospital and Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Legislation, Ethics and Regulatory, Drug Marketing and Socio-economic Pharmacy, Industrial Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Education And Student, Scientific and the FAPA-College of Pharmacy. The main aim of FAPA is developing the Pharmacy profession in the Asia Pacific region and its major activity is the biennial FAPA Congress held in various Asian countries. FAPA Congress 2012
This year, Indonesian Pharmacists Association (IAI) will host the 24th Federation of Asian Pharmaceutical Associations (FAPA) Congress that will take place from the 13th to 16th of September 2012 at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center, Bali - Indonesia. The theme is, “Cultural and Medicine: Bringing Traditional Medicine to Modern life”
Its main objective is the achievement of consensus on how to view the practice of pharmacy that lasted from generation to generation and how the current positioned so that it can make a meaningful contribution in the health world. The congress will provide a platform for pharmacists, pharmaceutical scientists and clinicians alike to interact and share their collaborative research and practical experiences in our efforts to achieve quality patient-oriented healthcare.
