We are pleased to announce that the winner 🥇 of the Poland–Indonesia Friendship Batik Design Competition is Mr. Franky Kurniawan
His work was selected as the best among 180 submissions received from across Indonesia.

The jury also decided to recognize the following outstanding works:

Congratulations to all winners and participants! The selected works were presented today during a special exhibition held as part of the reception celebrating the National Day of Poland.

Ambassador Barbara Szymanowska held a meeting with the newly appointed Director of Europe I at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia, Mr. Akbar Makarti. The discussion focused on future plans for strengthening Polish–Indonesian relations in 2026, with particular attention to political dialogue and economic cooperation. 🇵🇱🤝🇮🇩

We sincerely appreciate Director Akbar and his team for the constructive exchange and welcoming approach.

🇵🇱🇮🇩🇪🇺The Embassy of Poland in Indonesia took part in the EU–Indonesia Tech Event in Jakarta, engaging in forward‑looking discussions on 5G, secure connectivity, sustainable data centres and digital public infrastructure. Strong momentum for closer EU–Indonesia tech cooperation.

Today we celebrate the 235th anniversary of the Constitution of 3rd May🇵🇱

Enacted in 1791 it was the first modern codified constitution in Europe and the second in the world - after the United States’.

Encouraging to see continued high-level engagement in 🇵🇱🇮🇩 relations. Productive discussions between Deputy Foreign Ministers: H.E. Władysław T. Bartoszewski and H.E. Arrmanatha Nasir during the ASEAN–EU Ministerial Meeting (AEMM) in Brunei Darussalam.

A very good meeting between Deputy Foreign Minister of Poland Władysław Teofil Bartoszewski and Timor-Leste’s Foreign Minister Bendito dos Santos Freitas during the EU–ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Brunei Darussalam.

Congratulations to Timor-Leste on this historic milestone on the road to ASEAN membership. Poland values the growing partnership with Timor-Leste and stands ready to share its experience in support of the country’s development and transformation.

🎓 Study your Master’s in Poland with the Banach Scholarship Programme 2026! 🇵🇱

The Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) has launched the call for applications for the Banach Scholarship Programme for the academic year starting in October 2026.

📌 What does the programme offer?
– a scholarship for the entire duration of Master’s studies
– an additional course in Polish language and culture (for studies in English)
– a preparatory year of Polish language (for studies in Polish)

📌 Important requirements:
– candidates independently choose their field of study and apply directly to selected universities (NAWA does not participate in the university admission process)
– applicants must provide a document confirming participation in the admission process (e.g. application confirmation or acceptance letter)
– please note that the Embassy of Poland in Jakarta does not issue letters of recommendation for individuals with whom it has had no prior cooperation; a letter of recommendation is optional under the Banach Scholarship rules and applications submitted without it will still be considered complete and valid
– required language proficiency:
• minimum B2 for studies in English
• minimum B1 for applicants to the preparatory course (studies in Polish)
