Brigid's Cross Tutorial We are located in St. Brigid's parish in Ardagh. Each year locals and others walk down to her holy well near the village. Connections to the saint locally go even further back. As a daughter of the Dagda, the pre-Christian Brigid is a sister of Midir. St. Brigid's Day/Imbolc is celebrated the start....

We are so saddened to hear of the passing of Niall Martin of Nationwide. Niall came to visit us in Ardagh Heritage three times. He was so lovely to work with and put everyone at ease. Rest in peace, Niall. Condolences to your family in this sad time. This photo is from Niall's visit in July 2019 when we walked and talked on Brí Leith for Bilberry Sunday.
