Experience a week filled with creativity, culture, and fun for all ages. Enjoy weaving workshops, art and pottery classes, bird and river walks, cookery demonstrations, exhibitions of art and photography, traditional dancing, the Ardara Show, and much more!

Wild Atlantic Festival 2026 is coming soon!
Pottery Workshop with Jane from "The School House Pottery". Join Jane for a special one-day pottery workshop at the Ardara Heritage Centre. These relaxed, hands-on sessions are ideal for beginners and anyone interested in exploring the creative possibilities of clay.

Dates & Times:
● Tuesday, 4 August 2026
Time: 1:00pm – 4:00pm
● Wednesday, 5 August 2026
Time: 1:00pm – 4:00pm

What You’ll Learn:
Participants will be guided through a range of traditional and contemporary pottery techniques, including:
● Hand-building techniques
● Texture imprinting using locally foraged flora
● Underglazing greenware
● Reactive stoneware glaze decoration on a unique hand thrown Irish clay vessel of your choice

Fee: €75 per day
Included in the Price
● All materials
● Firing of your finished pieces

As part of the Wild Atlantic Festival 2026, join artist Sean Ó Brogain for a special one-day Oil Portrait Painting Workshop.
