The children are busy preparing for this Friday's walking tours of Ballinahown village.

Inspired by the village's entry into Entente Florale Europe in 2024, the walking tours will allow the children to showcase their knowledge of their area, the impact our decisions have for our local wildlife and the environment.

Come and hear just how passionate they are about Ballinahown and the many activities and projects they engage in to contribute to their local community.

Thank you to Ballinahown Community Development for working with the children on this. It affords them a great opportunity to build their confidence in public speaking.

They are looking forward to hosting you all. Spread the word! Tours begin at the school gates at 11.10am and 11.30am this Friday, June 12.

🦺🚧🔧 Community Hall Update 🔧🚧🦺

Over the next few weeks, work will be taking place on the roof of the Ballinahown Community Hall. Scaffolding is currently being erected, so we ask everyone to please take extra care when in the area.

The hall will remain open as normal, with all classes and bookings continuing as usual.

We kindly ask everyone to respect the safety measures in place to ensure the wellbeing of all users during this time.

CASTLEDALY COMMUNITY MARKET 2026

This Summer, we are launching a
COMMUNITY GROWERS MARKET in Castledaly.

Local growers can leave any surplus fruit, vegetables, or eggs at our fortnightly pop up stall in the clubhouse.

Community members are invited to take what they need by making a donation to the HONESTY BOX or by bartering their own produce.

All funds raised will go towards supporting the redevelopment of Castledaly playground.
