This is the last photograph taken by the late Robert Redmond of the river barrow here in Athy. This picture was kindly donated by the Redmond family in sincere recognition of the kindness and professionalism shown to them by the Ambulance crews.
The staff here in Athy Station would like to thank the Redmond family for this beautiful gift.

Best wishes to Lawrence Kenna who retires today from the National Ambulance Service from all in Athy.
We'd like to extend good wishes to Lawrence Kenna who, after a 40 year career in the ambulance service, he retires today. Much of his career was in training and education within the National Ambulance Service. Have a safe, happy, healthy and active retirement Lawrence.

The national flag in our memorial garden will be flown at half mast today to show our respect to Det Garda Colm Horkan. We will also have members lining out at Athy Garda Station at 12 midday, to mark the minutes silence that is being held across the state.
