Advancing cooperation in the Pacific. 🌱

During her visit to Papua New Guinea, MASHAV Head Eynat Shlein met with Prime Minister James Marape and Minister of Health Dr. Billy Joseph to discuss opportunities to expand bilateral cooperation.

Discussions focused on MASHAV training programs, healthcare cooperation, public-private partnerships and sustainable development.

In Sogeri village, three HomeBiogas units were donated, turning household waste into cooking gas and organic fertilizer.

Together we are building partnerships for a better, sustainable future 🤝

Supporting smarter irrigation in India 💧🌱

Under the Indo–Israel Agricultural Project (IIAP), installation of N-Drip Gravity Micro Irrigation sensors has begun at selected Centres of Excellence in Maharashtra, with support from MASHAV.

The N-Drip Connect platform uses sensor data and real-time monitoring to support more precise irrigation decisions and efficient water management.

This initiative reflects ongoing India–Israel cooperation in promoting water-use efficiency and sustainable agriculture.

MASHAV Agriculture Attaché Uri Rubinstein visited the Indo-Israel Centre of Excellence for Mango in Kolar, Karnataka, where modern orchard practices and efficient water management are being applied to support mango growers.

The Center’s work includes high-density mango management, water-efficient practices and the cultivation of Israel’s Maya mango variety, demonstrating the practical impact of India–Israel agricultural cooperation. 🇮🇱🇮🇳

Three years have passed since October 7.

On that day, several MASHAV agricultural experts who dedicated their lives to international cooperation, and participants in MASHAV's Internship in Agriculture Program from Nepal, Cambodia, and Tanzania, were among those caught in the brutal attack.

We remember those who were murdered, taken hostage, or injured, and stand with the families whose lives were forever changed. 🕯

The Embassy of Israel in the Dominican Republic, together with the Dominican Republic Shalom Club, held a ceremony commemorating the 30th anniversary of the death of Israeli diplomat Aviv Cohen.

Three trees were planted to represent the continuity of his legacy and to continue bringing life in the name of those who are no longer with us.

May the memory of Aviv Cohen be a blessing. 🕯️

A look at Indo-Israeli agricultural collaboration in Hosur, Tamil Nadu 🇮🇱🇮🇳

MASHAV Agriculture Attaché Uri Rubinstein visited a horticultural farm where Israeli and Indian expertise come together to support modern agriculture.

The farm, a joint venture between Israel’s Profit-Agro Ltd and India’s MicroTech ProfitAgro, combines advanced agritech with practical farming solutions, including irrigation and fertigation systems by Rivulis Irrigation and Galcon Computerized Control Systems - גלקון ישראל .

With year-round production of leafy vegetables and fruits, the farm offers a strong example of technology and expertise coming together in practice.

Continued collaboration with our alumni! 🇮🇱🇲🇲

Following a recent visit to Eden Centre for Disabled Children (ECDC) - Myanmar for Yangon, the Embassy of Israel provided a donation to support the center and its hydrotherapy program for children. 🌊

Eden Centre was established and is operated by a MASHAV alum and Shalom Club member, and we are proud to support such a meaningful initiative.

Hydrotherapy helps children with special needs to work on mobility, strength, balance and coordination, while also building confidence and discovering their abilities.

We are grateful to the dedicated team at Eden Centre for the care, patience and commitment they bring to children and their families every day.
