Gaza Peace Plan: Voices from Israel’s Gaza Border

MediaCentral brought journalists to southern Israel for an on-the-ground press tour, meeting with residents and security officials from communities along the Gaza border.

The tour included visits to Netiv Ha’Asara, Sdot Negev and Kibbutz Be’eri, with Hila Fenlon, Rafi Babian, Head of Security for the Sdot Negev Regional Council, and Avida Bachar, an October 7 survivor from Kibbutz Be’eri.

As discussions over a possible new framework for Gaza continue, journalists heard firsthand what any future agreement could mean for the communities that experienced October 7 from security and rebuilding to the question of what lasting safety along the border should look like.

During the discussion, Yungman shared insights from his distinguished career, including his central role in the development, production, and deployment of Israel’s most advanced air and missile defense systems, including Iron Dome and David’s Sling.

MediaCentral welcomed more than a dozen international journalists for a special street art experience through the streets of Tel Aviv.

Led by a local graffiti expert, the group explored the stories behind the city’s iconic murals, learned about the culture and creativity of Israel’s street art scene, and even got to create their own graffiti artwork.

A morning of creativity, conversation, and discovering another side of Israel.
