ATLANTIC AIRWAYS x ARMED FORCES OF MALTA

The faroese Atlantic Airways Aviation Academy will provide training to the Maltese military fleet of the AW139 helicopters, which are used for border control, search and rescue, and maritime patrol.

Earlier this year, Atlantic Airways celebrated the grand opening of the new training and simulation center, with two full-flight simulators (FFS), one Airbus A320 FFS, and one AW139 FFS, and is now opening its doors for external trainees.

The 3-year contract is being co-financed by European Union’s (EU) Border Management and Visa Instrument.

The two island nations share a deep understanding of the challenges and demands of operating in remote and dynamic environments, and Atlantic Airways state that they are proud to continue the cooperation and strengthen the ties between the island communities through advanced helicopter training.

HAVSBRÚN ACHIEVES ASC FEED STANDARD CERTIFICATION - A Major Milestone in Sustainable Aquaculture

In this annual event, 80 volunteers from all over the world get the oppurtunity to maintain and restore the beautiful nature of the Faroe Islands.

Visit Faroe Islands provide food and accomodation during the 4-day period. Working days in 2026 will be April 30 – May 2.
