Double-Deck Metopolitan Train for Gush Dan

When Bombardier Israel approached Yaron Eldad and myself and asked us to conceptualize and design their existing double-deck train as a commuter train inspired by Tel Aviv, we couldn't be more excited to take on the task!

Tel Aviv is the main city in the metropolis known as “Gush Dan”, which is the train’s proposed route. The design concept is based on various styles and atmospheres starting from the old and historic Jaffa style, through Bauhaus architecture and Post Modernism nuances. All of which are present in Tel Aviv and form its eclectic nature.

Currently, our design is being evaluated by Israel's Ministry of Transportation and Road Safety, while our fingers are crossed :)

It's not everyday that I get to work on and be partner to the birth of such a fun brand!

My Urban Runway germinated about 3 years ago in Manhattan by Sivan Epstein Pnini - a fashion designer and style icon, as well as, one of my favorite BFFs. When Sivan asked me to design a logo for her, I presented her one option - it was so "spot on" and represented her personality and style to a T that she immediately adopted it as the face of her brand. It's pretty awesome when you know your client this well :)

What started as a simple fashion blog to cater to Sivan's immense love and passion for fashion and style, exploded into a mega brand that recently launched a stunning online boutique offering super-chic clothes, bags and accessories, all hand-picked by Sivan and imported to TLV from NYC.

Sivani - it's been a pleasure thus far to es**rt you creatively in your journey, and I can't wait to see what the future has in store for us! Mega mwah to you and to My Urban Runway!
