רג'ד היא נערה פלסטינית בת 15 משכם אשר סובלת ממום לב מולד ומורכב. במסגרת הפרוייקט Saving Children של המרכז עברה רג'ד סדרת ניתוחים וצינתורים מורכבים בישראל. היום היא משתחררת מבית החולים לאחר קבלת טיפול חדשני שמאפשר לה לחזור לפעילות מלאה, מה שנמנע ממנה עד היום.
רג'ד חוזרת בריאה ושלמה אל ביתה כשגרירה של שלום, סיפורה מהווה סמל לחיים משותפים למען עתיד טוב יותר.

פרויקט Saving Children היא תכנית הומניטרית אשר מפנה ילדים חולים פלסטינים מהגדה ומעזה לבתי חולים ברחבי הארץ ומאפשר להם טיפולים רפואיים מורכבים ולעתים רבות אף מצילי חיים. בכל חודש מטפל מרכז פרס לשלום ולחדשנות בעשרות פניות המגיעות אליו, ומאז השקת הפרויקט בשנת 2003 טופלו כ- 13,000 ילדים.
מעבר לפן ההומניטארי שבהצלת חיי ילדים, הפרויקט מאפשר נקודת מפגש ייחודית בין משפחות, צוותים רפואיים ובתי חולים ובונה גשרים איתנים של שלום.

رغد فتاة فلسطينية في الخامسة عشرة من عمرها من مدينة نابلس تعاني من عيب خلقي معقد في القلب . كجزء من مشروع إنقاذ الأطفال - Saving Children ومن خلال هذا المشروع خضعت رغد لسلسلة من العمليات المعقدة والقسطرات العلاجية في إسرائيل .
اليوم ، خرجت رغد من المستشفى بعد تلقيها علاجًا مبتكرًا يسمح لها بالعودة إلى نشاطها الكامل ، حيث لم تتمكن من ذلك حتى الآن.

برنامج Saving Children يعتبر مشروعًا إنسانيًا يتم من خلاله تحويل الأطفال الفلسطينيين المرضى من الضفة الغربية وغزة إلى العلاج في المستشفيات في جميع أنحاء البلاد ، ويوفر لهم العديد من العلاجات الطبية المعقدة واللتي غالباً ما تنقذ حياتهم.
يقوم مركز بيرس للسلام في كل شهر تلقي العشرات من الطلبات والتوجهات والعناية بها ، ومنذ إطلاقه هذا المشروع في عام 2003 ، تمت معالجة وتحويل ما يقارب ال 13000 طفلا .
بالإضافة إلى الجانب الإنساني المتمثل في إنقاذ حياة الأطفال ، يتيح المشروع مكانًا فريدًا للقاء بين العائلات والفرق الطبية والمستشفيات ويبني جسوراً قوية للتعايش والسلام .

Raghad is a 15 year old Palestinian girl with complex congenital heart disease. As part of the "Saving Children" Project of the Peres Center for Peace and Innovation, Raghad went through a series of complicated operations and catheterizations in Israel. Today she will be released from the hospital after undergoing innovative treatment which enables Raged to achieve a full range of functionality in in her everyday life, which she could not do until today.

"Saving Children" is a humanitarian project which treats sick Palestinian Children of the West Bank and Gaza in hospitals across Israel and enables them to undergo complex and lifesaving procedures. Every month the Peres Center for Peace and Innovation receives and processes dozens of requests and has treated about 13,000 children since the launch of the project in 2003. Beyond the humanitarian aspect of saving children's lives, the project allows for a unique meeting point between families, medical teams and hospitals, and builds strong bridges of peace.

הלילה מרכז פרס הביא ארבע ילדות מסוריה לניתוחי לב מצילי חיים בבתי חולים בישראל - שתי תינוקות בנות שנה, פעוטה בת שנתיים וילדה בת 11 - כולנו מייחלים להחלמתם השלמה והמהירה!

מרכז פרס לשלום וחדשנות גאה להיות הגוף האזרחי היחיד בישראל המטפל כיום בילדים סורים בבתי החולים במרכז הארץ ונותן להם הזדמנות שנייה לחיים בריאים וטובים.

Today the Peres Center brought four girls from Syria into Israel for life-saving heart surgery - two 1-year-olds, one 2-year-old, and an 11-year-old. We wish all four girls a full and speedy recovery!

The Peres Center is proud to be the only NGO in Israel that currently brings Syrian children in to Israeli hospitals for treatment, giving them the chance for a healthy and happy life.
