On 9 June, 🇸🇮 Ambassador Batič attended an event organized by 🇮🇱 Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the International Center for Young Leaders (ICYL). Over 100 high school students took part in the unique summit that brings together secondary school students from all over the country. Over twenty resident Ambassadors interacted with students, discussing bilateral relations and current events. I enjoyed an open and informed discussion about Slovenia and Israel.

🇸🇮 Ambassador Bogdan Batič visited today the Atid Almajd High School, Taybeh, recognized as a leading school in Israel for English-language excellence, where he engaged with students in a lively discussion on language learning, the work of diplomats, Slovenian diplomatic achievements, and the key role of women in peacebuilding.

The Embassy of Slovenia thanks the students, teachers, and staff of Atid Almajd High School, Taybeh, for their warm welcome and the inspiring exchange with the next generation of leaders.

Mrs. Maja Šegota ,DCM, participated alongside the diplomatic body at the IATI Foreign Ambassadors Forum organized by Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Israel Advanced Technology Industries (IATI).

During the meeting, strategic issues related to innovation, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, investment, and defense were discussed, highlighting how Israel continues to consolidate as a global hub of technology and resilience.

Hello lovers of horror movies! With the kind cooperation of the Italian Embassy Cultural Centre, we have received two tickets for the movie “The Holy Boy” - an Italian-Slovenian co-production at the Italian Film Festival.

👏 Iskrene čestitke veleposlaniku Batiču ob prejemu plakete Ministrstva za zunanje in evropske zadeve za izjemne dosežke!

Priznanje je prejel skupaj s slovenskimi veleposlaniki v Abu Dabiju, Teheranu in Kijevu, ki svoje delo opravljajo v posebej zahtevnih razmerah.

Ob tej priložnosti je izpostavil delo veleposlaništva pri evakuacijah pacientov iz Gaze ter pomoč slovenskim državljanom ob nedavnih umikih iz Izraela med spopadi med Izraelom in Iranom. Poseben poklon je namenil tudi pokojnemu vodji Urada RS v Ramali Vojku Kuzmi, ki je svoje delo posvetil prizadevanjem za mir in dialog med Izraelom in Palestino.
