It has two schools: one is a primary school and the other is a high school belonging to the government of Andhra Pradesh; there are many private schools.
This village is around 270KM distant from Hyderabad via NH9 and Andhra Pradesh SH2(Narketpalli-Addanki-Medarametla).The V in its name refers to Vaidana a village next to it just for identification purpose as there are couple of villages with the same name in the district. it is center to go main places like Narasaraopet, Chilakaluripeta, Vinukonda, Ongole, Adanki, Piduguralla, Hyderabad and Singar
