i-Hub Gujarat facilitated the participation of 𝟐𝟎 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐩𝐬 at the summit, offering them an opportunity to present their innovations, engage with key ecosystem stakeholders, and establish meaningful connections with potential investors and industry leaders to support their growth journey.

i-Hub Gujarat participated in the “𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐚 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐨 & 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔,” engaging with students, aspiring entrepreneurs, innovators, and academic stakeholders to raise awareness about Gujarat’s growing startup ecosystem.

During the exhibition, 𝐇𝐨𝐧’𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐭 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐫. 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐲𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐆𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐛𝐡𝐚𝐢 𝐕𝐚𝐣𝐚 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲, 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐲, 𝐀𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐭 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐫 & 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐆𝐨𝐆 visited the i-Hub Gujarat stall and interacted with the i-Hub Team.

Through such exhibitions, i-Hub Gujarat continues to educate and motivate innovators about various initiatives by the Government of Gujarat, including Startup Srujan Seed Support (S4), other grant schemes, incubation and acceleration programs, mentorship opportunities, investor and industry connections, intellectual property facilitation, and access to co-working spaces designed to help startups expand and succeed.

Aligned with the expo’s mission to promote innovation, collaboration, and student involvement, such platforms encourage young minds to explore creative ideas, emerging technologies, and opportunities within the startup ecosystem.

As a part of the "GCCI Gujarat Sustainability Summit", held on 𝟏𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐲, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, a dedicated panel discussion was organized featuring 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐩 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 supported by i-Hub Gujarat.

The panellists shared their innovations, spoke on the evolving climate tech landscape, and reflected on their entrepreneurial journeys, offering ground-level perspectives on what it takes to build innovations that address some of the most pressing environmental challenges.

i-Hub Gujarat, in association with the Indian Medical Association (IMA) and the Medical Student Network (MSN), organized a sensitization session for medical students, designed to encourage and channel innovation within the HealthTech sector, bringing together 50+ medical students.

i-Hub Gujarat hosted the visit of 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐍𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐚 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐲, 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 – 𝐈𝐈𝐌 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 and 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐌𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐨 𝐉𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐰𝐚𝐥, 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 – 𝐈𝐈𝐌 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐩𝐮𝐫 on 14th May, 2026.

During the visit, a roundtable discussion was held with i-Hub Gujarat officials, where they were briefed on the startup ecosystem of Gujarat, covering the structures, support systems, and initiatives enabling innovation across the state.

The discussion further opened avenues for cross-institutional collaboration, with both sides exploring synergies that could collectively advance the ecosystem and facilitate market access for startups in the eastern region of India.

The visit concluded with interactions between the Directors and startup founders across various sectors, where they engaged in detail on the innovations being developed and the specific problem areas each startup is working to address.

On May 14, 2026, Dr. 𝐌.𝐊. 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐦𝐮𝐠𝐚 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐦, 𝐈𝐀𝐒, 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲, 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐫 & 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐔𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐡, visited i-Hub Gujarat.

During the visit, he interacted with 𝐌𝐫. 𝐇𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐦𝐚𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚 (𝐂𝐄𝐎, 𝐢-𝐇𝐮𝐛 𝐆𝐮𝐣𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭) and 𝐌𝐫. 𝐉𝐚𝐲𝐊𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐫 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐡𝐢 (𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝, 𝐢-𝐇𝐮𝐛 𝐆𝐮𝐣𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭), who presented an overview of the startup ecosystem, the state government-led policies and schemes supporting startups at various stages, and the initiatives undertaken by the Government of Gujarat.

The discussion also covered i-Hub's structured support framework, which includes mentorship, market access, infrastructure support, IP and patent filing assistance, facilitation of private funding, and other enabling support mechanisms.

He was also briefed on upcoming initiatives currently in the pipeline, focused on the IP Policy Framework and the Testing and Validation Policy Framework.

As part of the visit, Dr. Shanmuga Sundaram also toured the co-working space at i-Hub Gujarat, where he engaged directly with startup founders, understanding their solutions and the problem statements they have addressed through innovation.
