Science behind Holi હોળી Dhuleti ધૂળેટી
1. Prevents Diseases
The weather during Holi induces the growth of bacteria in the atmosphere and our bodies. There’s a reason why celebrations start with a Holika bonfire on the night before Holi. The heat from the fire cleanses these bacteria.
2. Health Benefits of Natural Colours
During spring, the weather changes and our bodies get more prone to diseases like measles, chicken pox, viral fever and cold.
That’s the reason why colours were made from natural sources earlier. The colours pe*****te our skin, strengthens the immune system and helps us ward off diseases.

Many patients with painful knee DO NOT need
We at start with simple medications, , , and in some cases special cartilage-nourishing natural injection in the knee.
Sometimes we use stem cell therapy to preserve natural knee, as we are doing in this patient.
Other options we sometimes use after consulting properly with patient and family, are knee osteotomy, partial knee replacement or rarely conventional standard total knee replacement.
Yesterday was a great delight when I was approached by an eminent Surgeon practising in , regarding biologic joint-preservation treatment for his own
✅
Such decisions and natural treatments require scientific team work for which I am indebted to my anesthetic colleague Dr Bimal Chhaya, Plastic Surgeon Dr. Kirtana S. Shah Cosmetic Surgery & Medical Aesthetic Center , my Stem-Cell & Orthobiologics team from across entire India and the world and of course all our nursing, technical and Physiotherapy plus pharmacy colleagues!

How much of the advice regarding Knee Replacement is evidence-based?
How much of the advice for or against Knee Replacement is without any bias or conflict of interest?
In surgery, decision is more important than incision!!!

"Miracles" do happen sometimes!! This patient was all prepared for both knee replacements. However, clinically I felt it was in her best interest to have only one knee replaced at a time. Now over two years since her left knee replacement, she is taking good weight on her new left knee. Her opposite right arthritic knee has therefore become less painful than before!!
This begs the question: what percentage of bilateral knee replacements (during the same hospitalization) are actually necessary or even beneficial to the patients?

Blisters of the skin can be caused by different diseases. It is an interdisciplinary and interprofessionally relevant challenge. In the clinical routine different local therapeutic procedures are currently practiced. Either the blister is left in place or the blister is punctured and the blister roof is left in place; alternatively, the complete blister roof is ablated. Each of these approaches has potential advantages and disadvantages. A review of the current literature and consensus by the experts of the Initiative Chronische Wunde (ICW) e.V. was performed.
The following approaches are recommended:
1) uncomplicated blisters without pressure pain: leave blisters in place;
2)pressure painful and palmar and plantar localized blisters: puncture blister and leave roof;
3) ruptured blisters without clinical signs of infection: leave remnants of bladder roof; ruptured bladders with clinical signs of infection: remove remnants of the blister roof;
4)blisters in burns of grade 2a or higher or in cases of unclear burn depth or chemical burn: remove blister roof.
This is followed in each case by the application of a sterile wound dressing.
There is no single correct local therapeutic procedure for blisters on the skin. When planning a therapeutic concept, the genesis of the blisters should be clarified and, if necessary, causal treatment should be given. Local therapy is then based on various individual factors.
Thus, the approach chosen together with the patient can vary between individuals.

...continuing with unifying spirit of Shiva...Bhagwan Shri Shiv ji with
Guru Gobind Singh Ji invoked the blessings of the same Shiva of Guru Granth Sahib in his Epilogue to Chandi Charitra when he supplicates:
“Dehi Siva bar mohi ehai hain, shub karman Te kabhun na taron:
Grant me this boon, O Bounteous Lord from Thy greatness; may I never refrain from righteous acts” (Dasam Granth, Khayal Patshahi 10, p 99).
Bhai Gurdas, the co-compiler of Guru Granth Sahib and the First Interpreter of Gurbani explains this phenomenon by saying:
“It is from the confluence of Shiva-Shakti that Nature was created by God”
(Var. 6, Pauri. 6),
A Sikh's Reply When Asked: Was Guru Gobind Singh ji a Shiv Devotee ????
Shri Gobind Singh wrote this bhajan
Deh Siva bar Mohe (O Shiva give me the boon) is a celebrated and widely quoted hymn written by Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru.
I am a Sikh. I believe that Guru Gobind Singh ji was a Shiv Bhakta.
To understand Sikhism you have to understand Hinduism. Hinduism is not Christianity and Islam which are codified religions, and have a book and a prophet. Hinduism has originated from various rituals tribal customs and social life over the centuries.
Predominant amongst these thoughts is a way of life called Sanatan Dharma which 100% of the Hindus follow, and this is generally mistaken as Hinduism, and the other thoughts are treated as offshoots of Hinduism. The real truth is that Hinduism means Sanatan Dharma AND all the other thoughts. Sikhism is but one of these thoughts.
Firstly, the British with their policy of divide and rule, and secondly, political turmoil and hatred between Hindus and Sikhs has put the idea of a separate identity in the mind of us Sikhs. Many of my co-religionists will say – but we have different ideas as compared to Hinduism. Sure - I agree that we are different in ways but there are 50 – 100 major different thoughts within Hinduism and we are BUT one of them.
Do you understand ? Whereas fundamentalist Sikhs we say that we are 1 amongst 7 great world religions the fact is that there are actually 4 great religions. One - Christianity has various branches - Catholic, Protestant, Methodist, Adventist, etc. Second – Islam has various branches - Shia, Sunni, Ahmediya etc. There is Judaism and finally Hinduism ( which is a collection of various beautiful thoughts like Buddhism, Sanatana Dharma, Sikhism, Jainism, Arya Samajists, Vaishnav, Shaivaites Manbhum, Santhal etc )
So Sikhism is born out of Hinduism. Guru Nanak was born a Hindu, he was a traveling holy man who followed a custom of Sant Mat ( or Saint Tradition ) quite popular amongst saints those days. It was a thought he inculcated in his believers and told them to learn it. His believers were called Sikhs as Sikh means – ‘to learn’ We had 9 more Gurus. Yes Guru Nanak also took some minor feedback from Islam but that is the nature of Hinduism – to absorb from everyone.

Shiv Shiv Shiv Shiv Shiv Shiv Shiv...
"I recently attended an even of eminent advocate, Shri Hari Shankar Jain and his son, Vishnu Jain in Varanasi.
They both said that they passionately worship Bhagwan Shiva whom they consider as first deity of Jainism and want Justice to prevail regarding from those who stole their Bhagwan Shivji Mandir in Kashi. When I asked him that Jains don't believe in any God, then he said that some " bigoted " Jain monks and Maharah Sahebs and preachers like Rakeshbhai make up such things & refuse to celebrate Hindu festivals, but majority of Jains don't follow them and Ganesha is worshipped in Jain temples as well along with Parshvanath whom he consider as a form of Shiva."
We can find the word Shiv in many Jain texts, where it is the name of designation (Shivpad or Shivhood)
The most notable example of the fusion and synthesis of not only the Jaini, Shiva, but also the Brahmanic, vedic, Buddhist and other Indian Sanatani philosophies is found in the great Himalayan centre of pilgrimage, Badrinatha or Badri Vishala. In the Badri Vishala temple in the daily worship the following stotra is recited: "One who is ordered as Shiva by the Shivas, as Brahma by the Vedatins, as Buddha by the Buddhists, as the cause by the Naiyayikas, Arahan by the Jainas, Karma By the Mimansakas, such god of the three worlds may grant as our longed for fruits. This illustrates how the Badrinath embodies the true Sanatani synthesis of India that is Bharat.
