बचपन मे एक निबंध में लिखा था बार बार 'गाय दूध देती है , गाय दूध देती है" उस बालक मन मे जो बैठ गया वो निकला ही नहीं सालों तक , ये ही मानता रहा कि गाय तो दूध देती ही है तो उसमें गलत क्या है? फिर एक मांसाहारी के ताने ने झकझोरा तो धीरे धीरे समझ मे आया क्या क्या गलत सोच रखा था |
किसी माँ शरीर मे दूध बनता ही तब है जब उसके खुद के बच्चा होने वाला हो, न कि हमारी चाय , आइसक्रीम , घी के लिए |
जब दूध बना उसके बच्चे के लिए था और उसने गोबर /पेशाब जैसे खुद नहीं त्यागा था तो मानवों ने छीना ही था न , तो उसे "गाय ने दूध दिया" कैसे कह सकते हैं ? कितनी क्रूरता है ये तो अलग विषय है ही पर अन्याय तो शुरू हो ही गया न ?

This pinned post began in 2021. The hundreds of reports, studies and articles linked to these posts make chilling reading and their tone gets more urgent every day. Each day I link articles that catch my attention; articles that outline issues caused directly by humanity’s callous disregard for planet Earth. Few are listening to the alarm bells but that changes nothing.

It is important to realise that there is a huge and increasing overlap between animal rights and the unfolding climate catastrophe. It's not really possible to speak of one without the other. To ignore, oppose, or argue against the imperative for our species to embrace veganism, is in fact a denial of both the climate catastrophe and science. Despite it’s being a common tactic of the exploitation industries who are clinging to the needless persecution of the innocent to preserve their profit margins and refuse to accept facts, the laws of physics apply universally. Every one of us will be seriously affected by this disaster sooner or later.

This page is clear that we all have a moral duty to stop refusing to be vegan because we have no need and no right to use the unconsenting bodies and lives of innocent individuals for our indulgence.

However, as the planet accelerates towards environmental collapse brought about by our relentless exploitation of the living world, as climate breakdown manifests daily in extreme weather events and record-breaking temperatures, as pollution chokes the life from Earth’s oceans and rivers and the long-predicted spectre of zoonotic disease scythes through human populations along with the ill health resulting from inappropriate diets, each day new evidence comes forward.

The world we are destroying belongs to our victims every bit as much as it ever belonged to us. As we saw off the branch our species is sitting on, we must remember that our victims are sitting alongside us, helpless passengers on our journey to ruin.
Stop refusing to be vegan. Everything in the world is depending on it.
