A meeting was held with the representatives of Morbi Ceramic Manufacturers Association in the chamber of the Regional Director, CGWB, WCR, Ahmedabad on 07.11.2025 in connection with the issues related to NOC from CGWA to Ceramic Industries of Morbi, District: Morbi. The meeting was chaired by Shri Pratul Saxena, Member Secretary CGWA. Dr Ratikanta Nayak, Regional Director CGWB, WCR, Ahmedabad, Dr Bhusan R. Lamsoge, Scientist-D and HOO CGWA New Delhi, Dr Vikas Ranjan Scientist-D CGWA New Delhi were present during the meeting. The officers from CGWB, WCR, Ahmedabad were also present during the meeting. The Member Secretary interacted with the representatives of Morbi Ceramic Manufacturers Association and provided solutions in respect of the issues raised related to issuance of NOC from CGWA.

Another meeting was held with the the representatives of Indian Salt Manufacturers Association chaired by the Member Secretary CGWA, New Delhi in the chamber of the Regional Director in the presence of Dr. Ratikanta Nayak, Regional Director CGWB, WCR, Ahmedabad, Dr. B. R. Lamsoge, Scientist-D and HOO CGWA New Delhi, Dr. Vikas Ranjan Scientist-D, CGWA New Delhi, Scientists from CSIR- CSMCRI, and officers from West Central Region Ahmedabad.

Member Secretary discussed various aspects to regulate the Salt Works Manufacturing Industries and gave key inputs for further necessary actions.

In the afternoon a PowerPoint presentation was made before the Member Secretary, CGWA on the progress, activities and achievements of CGWA, Ahmedabad. The Member Secretary praised and appreciated the remarkable work done by CGWA WCR Ahmedabad.

Sh. Pratul Saxena, Member Secretary CGWA, New Delhi, visited CGWB WCR, Ahmedabad on 06.11.2025.

Dr Ratikanta Nayak, Regional Director CGWB, WCR Ahmedabad, extended a warm welcome to the Member Secretary and provided an overview of the status of the newly constructed building as well as the ongoing activities of the region.

A booklet containing the salient CGWA guidelines and the Bhuneer app, was released by The Member Secretary CGWA. He also inaugurated the visitors waiting lobby and reviewed the building status. Discussion was held with the officers and officials of WCR on various activities and progress of the region.

Under the Rashtriya Karmyogi Large Scale Jan Sewa Program (Phase 2)* three nos. of one day training program have been successfully completed for employees of CGWB, WCR & DIV-1 Ahmedabad at Regional Office, Ahmedabad.

CGWB, WCR, Ahmedabad organised a Gram Sabha at Lali village, Kheda district as a part of observance of Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 (27th October to 2nd November) on theme "Vigilance : Our Shared Responsibility" on 31.10.2025. The programme was presided over by Dr. Ratikanta Nayak, Regional Director. The guest of the programme were Smt. Hasuben Rameshbhai Tadvi, Sarpanch and Sh. Jatinbhai Patel, Upsarpanch. Regional Director interacted with participants and videos on Corruption practices and it's harmful impact on society were shown to the participants for awareness followed by discussions.

The Vigilance Awareness Week (27th October to 2nd November 2025), with the theme “Vigilance – Our Shared Responsibility”, was inaugurated on 27th October 2025 by Dr. Ratikanta Nayak, Regional Director, CGWB, West Central Region, Ahmedabad. On this occasion, all officers and officials of the West Central Region, Ahmedabad, took the Integrity Pledge (Physical & e-pledge) and reaffirmed their commitment to remain vigilant, uphold integrity, and contribute to the fight against corruption. All officers and officials also participated in training on iGOT Karmayogi on "Preventive Vigilance".
CGWB, WCR conducted Debate competition on "Vigilance & Fighting Corruption" & Quiz competition on 29.10.2025 and all officers and officials participated in the event enthusiastically.

As per the direction of CHQ, Faridabad and with respect to Swachhata Special Campaign 5.0, CGWB, WCR, Ahmedabad organised outdoor cleanliness activity near Ognaj village pond, Ahmedabad along with Div-I, Ahmedabad staff on 25.09.2025.
