રોશનીથી ઝગમગતું કાંકરિયા Lake જાણે
એનાં રે નાક કેરી નથણી
માણેકચોક એનું દિલ બની ધડકે ને
C G Road મન બની મહેકે
મિલોની Siren ને વાહનનાં Horn રોજ
એનો અવાજ બની ગહેકે

ભદ્દરકાળીની છે મ્હેર અમદાવાદ
ખાણીપીણી ને લીલાલ્હેર અમદાવાદ
તારું ને મારું આ શહેર અમદાવાદ
સૌનું છે પ્યારું આ શહેર અમદાવાદ

પણ દિલમાં સમાય એવું નાનું

મળી જાય કાયમનાં મિત્રો

નિત નવાં રંગોનું શહેર અમદાવાદ
ઊડતાં પતંગોનું શહેર અમદાવાદ
