Today I visited Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Nadiad School. I had a detailed discussion with the Chairman of the school, Shri Arvind Saheb (Dada) and Director Shri Jacob Saheb about why the Thalassemia test is necessary.
Important issues were discussed about how important Thalassemia testing is in children and how important it is to get tested on time to avoid this serious disease in the future.
This meeting was very positive. I received a very positive response from the Chairman and Director Shri and they assured to move forward to start Thalassemia testing for the students of the school very soon.
Also visited Red Cross Blood Bank Nadiad. I had a positive discussion with the in-charge Nikeshbhai there on the functioning of Lifesavers United Group and how we can work more effectively for blood donation awareness.
During this meeting, he assured that he would provide full cooperation whenever the Lifesavers United Group is needed.

Today’s meeting of lifesavers United' Volunteers and Blood Donation & Thelesamiya awareness program at Riverfront was truly wonderful. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who took time out of their busy schedules to attend and be a part of this meaningful initiative. Your presence and support make a real difference.

After the event, I had the opportunity to visit the Red Cross, where I spent around two hours gaining valuable insights. It was a great learning experience to understand the complete process of blood donation — from collection to component separation and finally reaching the patient in need.

We also had an insightful discussion with Medical Director Mrs. Jhalak Patel, who shared detailed knowledge about how a blood center operates and the important precautions every blood donor should take. Also visited thelesamiya Care center and there was a lot of discussion about its prevention and control. It was reassuring to know their commitment, as they assured full support to Lifesavers United whenever any patient requires urgent help.

Overall, it was a day full of learning, awareness, and strengthening our mission to save lives. 🙏🩸
