The Draft Electoral Roll for all 40 Assembly Constituencies in Mizoram has been published on 4 July 2026 (qualifying date: 1 July 2025).

The roll is available for inspection at the offices of the ERO, AERO, BLO, and DEO, and online at CEO Mizoram website.

Eligible citizens may apply for inclusion (Form 6), deletion/objection (Form 7), or correction/transfer (Form 8) with the required documents from 4 July to 4 August 2026. No applications will be accepted after 4 August 2026.

Aizawl, July 4, 2026: The Chief Electoral Officer of Mizoram, Pi Garima Gupta, IAS, today met representatives of political parties following the publication of the Draft Electoral Roll under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026 at the I&PR Conference Hall, Lianchhiari Run.
The CEO commended political parties, election officials, Booth Level Officers (BLOs), and Booth Level Agents (BLAs) for successfully completing the enumeration phase, noting that Mizoram is the first among the 16 States and 2 Union Territories undertaking SIR 2026 to achieve 100% digitisation of the process.

She informed the meeting that the Claims and Objections period will remain open from July 4 to August 4, 2026, urging citizens to verify their details in the Draft Electoral Roll and apply for inclusion, correction, transposition, or deletion of entries where necessary.

Political party representatives expressed satisfaction with the conduct of SIR 2026 and appreciated the efforts of BLOs and BLAs. The CEO also distributed soft copies of the Draft Electoral Roll to all recognised political parties.

The meeting was attended by Joint Chief Electoral Officer Ethel Rothangpuii, officials of the CEO’s Office, and representatives of political parties.
