The Inter-national border adjoining the village

A village which lies in the remote area of Jammu district(west of Akhnoor).It is bounded by lower Shivaliks on north,inter-national border on west and south and Akhnoor sub-district on the east.The village is inhabited by Brahman community of Hindu's.People are engaged in farming,cattle rearing and in plantation.The village has produced a number of army jawans in Indian Army.The village is famous for its forest and its firewood.
