AMU Faculty Conducts Women’s Health Awareness Programme at RAF Battalion
ALIGARH, November 25: Dr Fahmeeda Zeenat, Assistant Professor in the Department of Niswan wa Qabalat, Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College, led a Women’s Health Awareness Programme and Free Consultation Camp at the 104 Battalion of the Rapid Action Force on Ramghat Road, Aligarh. The event was organised in collaboration with Project Umeed Welfare Foundation and SOCH NGO.
As the chief resource person, Dr Zeenat delivered a focused lecture on women’s health concerns and holistic Unani approaches, discussing reproductive health, stress management, lifestyle-related disorders and preventive care through Ilaj-bil-Ghiza and Ilaj-bit-Tadbeer. She also addressed practical issues relevant to female security personnel, encouraging proactive health monitoring and balanced routines.
The programme included an interactive session followed by a free medical consultation camp, where Dr Zeenat, supported by junior residents Dr Birjis, Dr Rafia, Dr Midhat, Dr Rosy, Dr Hina and Dr Zainab, conducted clinical screening, counselling and medicine distribution.
