Grand Inauguration of Gomati Fresh Mart at Ompi R.D. Block 🌿 A new milestone was achieved today at Ompi R.D. Block with the grand inauguration of Gomati Fresh Mart, established under Changang CLF with the support of Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRLM). The Fresh Mart was formally inaugurated by Shri Ruatfela Darlong, Block Development Officer (BDO), Ompi R.D. Block, by cutting the ribbon. The programme was graced by the presence of Shri Sagar Das, District Mission Coordinator (DMC), and Miss Khumber Debbarma, DC&L(M) In-charge, from the District. Also present were Mrs. Natain Rong Reang, Block Mission Coordinator (BMC), Ompi TRLM, along with the dedicated CLF Didis. 🥬 Gomati Fresh Mart aims to make fresh and locally produced agricultural products easily accessible to consumers while creating better market opportunities and strengthening the livelihoods of rural farmers and SHG members. 💰 Day 1 Sales: ₹1,880/-This encouraging beginning reflects the immense potential of community-led enterprises and the collective efforts of our Didis and TRLM towards promoting sustainable livelihoods and empowering rural communities. 🌱 From local producers to local consumers — building stronger livelihoods, one enterprise at a time!

Today Land preparation (FFS stage -1)has been done for Bottle gourd at Chechua VC under Ompi RD Block, Timely land preparation with recommended application of Fertilizer with FYM would help farmers optimization regarding yield.

A BAC Review Meeting was held on 20 July 2026 at the BPRC Hall, Office of the OMPI RD Block in presence of the ADM & Collector, Gomati district, MLA 41-AC, MDC-Ompi DC, BAC Chairman & Officers/officials of Line Departments and Block office. The meeting reviewed the progress and implementation status of key government schemes and departmental activities.

Detailed discussions were held on VB G RAM G, SBM-G, PMJANMAN, RD Division Amarpur works, ICDS Scheme, ARDD Scheme, Sub-zonal works, TRPC, TRESP, TRLM, Education, XV Finance Commission (BAC/VC Level), Forest, Banking, and the activities of MOIC Ampinagar and Twidu and various others Line Departments.

Producer Group 'Office Bearers' Books of Record (BOR) Training Conducted at TRESP Office, Ompi R.D. Block.

On 30.06.2026, a Producer Group 'Office Bearers' Books of Record (BOR) Training was successfully conducted at the TRESP Office, Ompi R.D. Block, under TRESP, BPMU Ompi.

The training focused on strengthening the capacity of Producer Group 'Office Bearers' to improve the maintenance of Books of Records (BoR), enhance institutional management and strengthen the overall functioning of Producer Groups (PGs).

The active participation and leadership of the Producer Group Office Bearers, the quality of record keeping, financial management, monitoring, transparency, accountability, and overall health of the PGs will improve significantly.

Such capacity-building initiatives play an important role in strengthening community institutions and sustainable livelihood activities at the grassroots level.

As part of the community-based livestock service initiative under TRLM, Pashu Sakhis distributed deworming medicine among livestock-rearing households in West Taicholong VC and Palku VC.
The initiative promotes preventive animal healthcare, improves livestock productivity, and strengthens the livelihoods of rural SHG families.

Producer Group GoM training conducted at TRESP office, Ompi R.D. Block.

On 29.06.2026, a Producer Group GoM(Governance, Operations & Management) training was successfully conducted at the TRESP Office, Ompi R.D. Block under TRESP, BPMU Ompi.

The training programme was organized to strengthen the institutional capacity of Producer Group (PGs) by enhancing their understanding of effective governance, operational efficiency and management practices for sustainable group functioning and livelihood development.

A Public welfare camp was organized by Block administration from 15th to 17th June 2026 at Ompinagar Town hall.
Various public services were provided from Line Departments to the public during the camp.
