Ambala is participating and has been shortlisted by the SWACHH BHARAT MISSION PROGRAMME of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the UP GRADATION OF THE SANITATION STATUS in AMBALA.
The Annual All India Sanitation Survey has been started for ranking the towns in terms of Sanitation. Last year in 2017, Ambala was ranked 308 amongst 430 cities in India.
Since July 2017 , a concerted effort has been by the Municipal Corporation and efforts have been made to sensitize the People of Ambala towards maintaining the General Sanitation and Hygiene. Solid Waste Segregation and Collection has started from Door -to- Door since July 2017.
THE ANNUAL ALL INDIA SANITATION SURVEY IS SHORTLY STARTING AND AMBALA IS IN THE RECKONING AND RACE TO IMPROVE ITS RATING.
THE ROT OF GARBAGE IS 70 YEARS OLD CURSE & STIGMA ON AMBALA. YOUR PARTICIPATION IN MAKING THIS MOVEMENT SUCCESSFUL IS VITAL FOR THE QUALITY OF OUR LIVES ( may be we can keep aside criticism of the Establishment for a while ). The Municipal Corporation is diligently putting the system in place.
