Sarodi Jyotshna Mahanta is a social development professional with experience in project management, capacity building and communications.
She holds a bachelorโ€™s in Sociology from Lady Shri Ram College For Women, Delhi University.
Her work spans supporting farmer producer organisations across Northeast India and promoting womenโ€™s livelihoods through handloom initiatives.
She also brings experience in stakeholder engagement, content development and leadership programmes for adolescent girls.

The Training Programme on Bio-entrepreneurship Skills, organised by Guwahati Biotech Park with support from NABARD - National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development Guwahati, brought together students from across Assam to explore opportunities in innovation and entrepreneurship.

As part of the programme, Kankan Jyoti Kharghoria, representing the Assam Innovation and Startup Foundation (AISF), conducted a session on Government of Assam schemes and support mechanisms for startups, along with the MASI registration process, on 28 August 2026.
Through such engagements, AISF continues to strengthen awareness and access to opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs and innovators across Assam

The NE-Vent 7 (Women-Only Cohort) Final Pitching Event, held on 25 August 2026 at The Hub Jorhat Bosco Institute, Jorhat, brought together 25 promising women-led enterorises from across Northeast India to present their ventures before an expert jury.
Representing the Assam Innovation and Startup Foundation (AISF), Kankan Jyoti Kharghoria participated as a Jury Member, sharing insights and feedback with the participating entrepreneurs. The session was also attended by Abhishek Kakkar from India Angel Network, bringing valuable investor and ecosystem perspectives to the interaction.
AISF remains committed to strengthening platforms that promote women entrepreneurship, mentorship and access to growth opportunities across the region.
