ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰੇਟ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਧਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਭੜਕਾਊ ਨਾਅਰੇ ਲਿਖਣ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕੁਝ ਹੀ ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਅੰਦਰ 02 ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।

ਇਸ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਇਆ ਕਿ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਦਾ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼-ਅਧਾਰਿਤ ਹੈਂਡਲਰ ਨਾਲ ਸੀ।

ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਥਾਣਾ ਏ-ਡਵੀਜ਼ਨ, ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਮੁਕੱਦਮਾ ਦਰਜ ਕਰਕੇ ਅਗਲੇਰੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ।

Commissionerate Police Amritsar took prompt action in a case involving the writing of provocative slogans on walls in the city, arresting 02 accused within a few hours.

During the investigation, it emerged that one of the arrested accused was in contact with a foreign-based handler.

A case has been registered at PS A-Division, Amritsar and further investigation is underway.

ਕਾਊਂਟਰ ਇੰਟੈਲੀਜੈਂਸ, ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ, ਨਸ਼ੀਲੇ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਦੇ ਮਾਡਿਊਲ ਦਾ ਪਰਦਾਫਾਸ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਚਾਰ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕਰਕੇ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ 20 ਕਿਲੋਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਹੈਰੋਇਨ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।

ਮੁੱਢਲੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਤੋਂ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਮਾਡਿਊਲ ਦੁਬਈ ਸਥਿਤ ਇੱਕ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਤਸਕਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਥਿਤ ਸਹਿਯੋਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਤਸਕਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਤਾਲਮੇਲ ਕਰਕੇ ਚਲਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ।

ਪੁਲਿਸ ਥਾਣਾ ਸਟੇਟ ਸਪੈਸ਼ਲ ਆਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਸੈੱਲ (ਐਸ.ਐਸ.ਓ.ਸੀ), ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਐਫ.ਆਈ.ਆਰ. ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਪੂਰੇ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਦੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਗਲੇ ਸਬੰਧਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਦਾਫਾਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਹੋਰ ਜਾਂਚ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ।

ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰੇਟ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ 6 ਗੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਦਾਫਾਸ਼ ਕਰਕੇ 8 ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ 13 ਗੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਪਿਸਤੌਲ ਅਤੇ 23 ਜ਼ਿੰਦਾ ਕਾਰਤੂਸ ਸਮੇਤ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।

ਮੁੱਢਲੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਤੋਂ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਕਥਿਤ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਤਸਕਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਪਰਾਧਿਕ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਗੇ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਲਈ ਗੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਦੋਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਸਬੰਧ ਵੀ ਸਥਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ।

ਥਾਣਾ ਛੇਹਰਟਾ, ਥਾਣਾ ਗੇਟ ਹਕੀਮਾ, ਥਾਣਾ ਸੁਲਤਾਨਵਿੰਡ ਅਤੇ ਥਾਣਾ ਡੀ-ਡਿਵੀਜ਼ਨ, ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਐਫ.ਆਈ.ਆਰ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਪਿਛਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਗਲੇ ਸਬੰਧਾਂ ਦਾ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਰਦਾਫਾਸ਼ ਕਰਨ, ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਰ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਸ਼ੀਲੇ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਗੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਅਗਲੇਰੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ।

Separate FIRs have been registered at PS Chheharta, PS Gate Hakima, PS Sultanwind & PS D-Division, Amritsar. Further investigation is underway to uncover the complete backward and forward linkages, identify other persons involved and dismantle the wider illegal arms trafficking network.

Punjab Police remains committed to maintaining strict vigil against illegal arms trafficking and organised criminal networks and taking firm action against those involved in the illegal supply and circulation of weapons.

ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ 'ਤੇ ਫੈਲ ਰਹੇ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਝੂਠੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਜ਼ਰਅੰਦਾਜ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਤੋਂ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਪਾਰ ਹੈਰੋਇਨ ਅਤੇ ਗੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਇੱਕ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।

ਮੁੱਢਲੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਤੋਂ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਕਥਿਤ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਪਾਰ ਬੈਠੇ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਤਸਕਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਹੈਰੋਇਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਖੇਪਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ।

Preliminary investigation reveals that the accused are allegedly operating in coordination with cross-border smugglers and receiving he**in consignments for further supply.

FIR has been registered at PS State Special Operation Cell ( ), Amritsar. Further investigation is underway to establish the complete forward and backward linkages, identify other persons involved and dismantle the wider cross-border narcotics smuggling network.

Punjab Police remains committed to maintaining strict vigil against cross-border smuggling and taking decisive action against drug trafficking and organised criminal networks.

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਇਸ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਘੜੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਖੜ੍ਹੀ ਹੈ। ਮਾਨਯੋਗ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਲਈ ₹1 ਕਰੋੜ ਦੀ ਐਕਸ-ਗ੍ਰੇਸ਼ੀਆ ਰਾਸ਼ੀ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜਦਕਿ HDFC ਬੈਂਕ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ₹1 ਕਰੋੜ ਦੀ ਵਾਧੂ ਬੀਮਾ ਰਾਸ਼ੀ ਦੀ ਅਦਾਇਗੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।

ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਸਨਮਾਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਵਿਦਾਇਗੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।

Punjab Police stands firmly with the bereaved family in their hour of grief. Hon’ble Chief Minister has announced an ex-gratia amount of ₹1 crore for his family, while an additional ₹1 crore insurance payout will be provided by HDFC Bank to his family. The martyr will be accorded full police honours.
