🎉 Successfully Completed | Model Exhibition 2026 🎉

Government ITI Hooghly successfully conducted the Model Exhibition under the Seva First Innovation Challenge 2026 on 29th September 2026, as part of the State-wide Seva Sankalp Abhiyan.

The exhibition showcased the creativity, technical skills, innovative ideas, and problem-solving abilities of our talented trainees. Through their working models and innovative projects, students demonstrated how technology, sustainability, and skill-based solutions can contribute to a better future.

The event focused on themes such as Agriculture & Food Security, Water & Sanitation, Climate & Green Future Disaster Management, IT, Al & Cyber Security, Semiconductor & Advanced Tech, Local Issue Solutions & Innovation

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the participating trainees, instructors, jury members, and everyone who contributed to making this event a success.

Government ITI Hooghly successfully organized a 𝑷𝒂𝒏𝒆𝒍 𝑫𝒊𝒔𝒄𝒖𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 under the 𝐒𝐞𝐯𝐚 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 on 29th September 2026, as part of the State-wide Seva Sankalp Abhiyan.

The discussion brought together participants to exchange ideas, share insights, and explore innovative, skill-based solutions to contemporary challenges. Key themes included Artificial Intelligence (AI), Green Technology, Water Conservation, Semiconductor and Local Problem-Solving.

The session highlighted the importance of technical education, innovation, critical thinking, and practical skills in addressing community needs and creating a sustainable future.

# # # 🌿 Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 | Swachh Paathshala – Yuva for Swachhata

*Government ITI Hooghly* proudly participated in the *Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) 2026* awareness programme under the theme:

*“Swachhata Mein Sahbhag, Swachh Bharat, Viksit Bharat”*

As part of *“Swachh Paathshala – Yuva for Swachhata”, trainees, instructors and staff came together to promote a culture of cleanliness, responsible waste management and active youth participation. The activity focused on awareness regarding **Solid Waste Management Rules, 2026, source segregation, Reduce–Reuse–Recycle (RRR), water conservation and sustainable cleanliness practices.*

Through interactive awareness sessions, practical demonstrations, creative activities and cleanliness initiatives, our trainees were encouraged to become *Swachhata ambassadors* in the ITI and in the wider community.

🌟 Hooghly Shines Bright! 🌟
A spectacular sight at Government ITI Hooghly! In alignment with the Government of West Bengal’s "Seva Sankalp Abhiyan", our campus was beautifully transformed this evening for the "Ashirwad Ka Diya" initiative.
Our students, faculty, and beneficiaries came together precisely at 7:00 PM to illuminate the institution with hundreds of glowing candles, tealights and diyas, symbolizing unity, dedication, and progress.
Thank you to everyone who participated and made this event a resounding success!

Yoga Sangam 2026 Observed at Government Industrial Training Institute, Hooghly.

The Institute actively participated in Yoga Sangam 2026 as part of the celebration of the International Day of Yoga.

Students, trainees, faculty members and staff enthusiastically took part in the yoga session and performed various yoga practices under guidance. The programme highlighted the importance of yoga in promoting physical fitness, mental well-being, self-discipline and a healthy lifestyle.

The observance reaffirmed the Institute's commitment towards fostering holistic development and wellness among its trainees and staff.
