There’s one thing I LOVE about this image…

It’s not the fact that this mountain goat is about to make a massive leap, that if done wrong, could alter the rest of his life…

It’s not the fact that he even had enough faith to do so!

What I do love is this…

His eyes are focused on one thing only - his final destination.

He’s not looking down wondering if he’s going to fall to his death.

He’s not looking behind him regretting the decision he made, wondering what would happen if he took a different route to his final destination.

His focus is on one thing only - the other side.

Often times in life, we finally get the courage to make a big leap (whatever that may look like).

Then hours, days, weeks, or even months later, find ourselves looking down…

Looking behind…

Or even looking beside…

Second guessing our decision and wanting to retreat back to the point of our departure.

If you have decided to make a leap in your life, here’s your reminder to keep your head forward and your focus ahead - despite what you may be dealing with in the present.

It will be worth it in the end.

In Ancient Greece, Socrates had a great reputation of wisdom. One day, someone came to find the great philosopher and said to him:
- Do you know what I just heard about your friend?

- So, questioned Socrates, you want to tell me bad things about him and you're not even sure they're true? Maybe you can still pass the test of the third sieve, that of UTILITY. Is it useful that I know what you're going to tell me about this friend?
- No, really.
- So, concluded Socrates, what you were going to tell me is neither true, nor good, nor useful. Why, then, did you want to tell me this?

An anthropologist showed a game to the children of an African tribe ...
He placed a basket of delicious fruits near a tree trunk and told them: "The first child to reach the tree will get the basket."

When he asked them why they did that when any one of them could have had the basket only for themselves!
They answered with astonishment: "Ubuntu"...that is, how can one of us be happy while the rest are miserable?
"Ubuntu" in their language means: "I am because we are".
That tribe knows the secret of happiness that has been lost in societies that consider themselves "civilized societies" ... !!

A snake entered a Carpentry Shop, and as it crawled to the corner, it went through a saw and hurt itself a little bit. At that time he turned and bit the saw, and biting the saw, he hurt himself badly in the mouth.
Then, not understanding what was happening to him and thinking that saw was attacking him, he decided to roll around the saw as if wanting to suffocate him with his whole body, and shaking with all his strength. It was so, unfortunately, the snake ended up being killed by the saw.

Sometimes we react in anger, thinking about hurting those who hurt us, but we are hurting ourselves. In life, sometimes it is better to situations, and offenses. Because the consequences can be irreversible and catastrophic.
It is always better to act in love even if it cost a lot, in the face of hate or idle words! Why if God is on your side, you will see all your enemies fall and swallow their own words....
