The milk production in the country now stands 247.87 million tonnes in 2024-25.

To incentivise dairying, Government of India has been taking multiple steps including support for animal health, breed improvement and feed management.

Schemes such as Livestock Health and Disease Control Programme (LHDCP) scheme, Rashtriya Gokul Mission (RGM) , Nationwide Artificial Insemination Programme (NAIP) have further helped in ensuring the holistic development of diary sector.

Under the leadership of PM Shri Ji, India’s border villages are no longer seen as the last outposts of the nation, but as the first villages of Bharat.

Through the Vibrant Villages Programme, the Government is driving comprehensive development in 662 villages across blocks along the northern border in 4 States and 1 Union Territory.

In Phase 2, this effort is being significantly expanded to cover 1,954 additional villages across 15 States and 2 Union Territories, including those along the Indo-Pakistan border.

The Govt of India's new Integrated Portal for making IEPF claims have led to faster disbursals.

The Portal of the Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority (IEPFA) has resulted in measurable improvement in processing timelines, reduction in pendency and enhanced transparency in claim settlements.

To MP Shri 's Clubbed Question, the Govt informed that from the period April 2025 to August 2025, IEPFA had approved 3079 claims. Following the launch of integrated portal in August 2025, IEPFA has approved more than 54,000 claims on the new portal.

Govt of India is leveraging Artificial Intelligence tools to ensure faster and accurate National Sample Survey (NSS) reports.

Replying to MP Shri 's Question, the Govt of India said the time lag in release of Annual Reports of NSS surveys has been reduced from around eight months earlier to about three months after completion of fieldwork.

In addition to this, the monthly and quarterly reports of NSS surveys are released within 15 days and 40 days, respectively, from the end of the corresponding survey period.

This is enabling better planning of scheme & efficient delivery of services by the Govt.

Under PM Shri Ji Govt's FAME scheme, Bengaluru has got the most number of buses sanctioned.

A total of 6,862 e-buses have been sanctioned under the FAME-II Scheme throughout the country. Out of this, 1,121 electric buses have been deployed in Bengaluru by BMTC.

Similarly, under the PM e-Drive, out of a total of 13,800 e-buses allocated throughout the country, Bengaluru alone will get 4,500 e-buses.

This showcases the Govt of India's commitment in improving the Ease of Mobility for citizens of Bengaluru.

Improvement of fire services lead to safer cities and improved Liveability.

Accordingly, in the Scheme for Expansion and Modernisation of Fire Services through the National Disaster Response Fund, Karnataka has been provided a financial outlay of Rs 329.90 crore out of which 74 crore has been released so far.

The scheme's aim is to set up more fire stations, modernise fire fighting equipment and strengthen training centres in the state for handling fire disasters.

In line with the vision of ‘Sahkar se Samriddhi’, the Govt launched Bharat Taxi in June 2025 with 8 entities.

Under this initiative, the pricing is designed to ensure transparent and regulated fares with zero commission charged by Bharat Taxi from drivers.

Bharat Taxi is currently operational in Delhi NCR, Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Somnath & Dwarka. The initiative will be expanded to Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities in the next 3 years.

The Government e-Marketplace, launched in 2016 by the PM Shri Ji Govt, enables online buying of goods and services by government entities like ministries, PSUs, states, and local bodies from registered sellers. Since its inception, the cumulative value of procurement made through GeM is ₹17,83,360 crore.

In a reply to MP Shri 's Question on the measures to prevent cartelisation on the GeM portal, the Govt informed the following:

1) Bid Representation Window: Buyers must review and respond to all pre-bid queries from bidders; bids can't open until addressed.

2) Challenge Rejection Window: Disqualified bidders can appeal; buyers must reply before financial evaluation proceeds.

3) IP Address Visibility: Buyers see bidders' IP addresses to detect potential collusion and disqualify if needed.

4) Advanced Analytics: AI flags anomalies like order splitting, suspicious bids, odd pricing, or cartels on buyer dashboards for action.

5) Severe Penalties: Proven anti-competitive acts (e.g., cartels) trigger up to 365-day suspensions under Incident Management.

To MP Shri 's Question on ICCR scholarships for foreign students, the Govt informed that the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) has increased the scholarship slots by 400 for 2026-27 to a total of 4,447 scholarships.

The ICCR offers these scholarships annually to foreign students to pursue studies in around 134 Universities in various mainstream disciplines, as well as in Indian music, dance, art, Yoga and Ayurveda.

This creates thousands of informal ambassadors of India abroad, while also generating a lot of goodwill for India in various countries.

Karnataka is the 2nd highest beneficiary state in the PM Mudra Yojana (Shishu) with over 10,533,379 loans sanctioned in the last 3 years.

In this, Bengaluru has received a lion's share with 919,577 Shishu loans sanctioned worth Rs 3,218 crore.

In Bengaluru District, 421,695 Kishor loans worth Rs 5,321 crore and 52,886 Tarun loans worth Rs 8,958 crore and 241 Tarun Plus loans worth Rs 34 crore have been disbursed.

70% of the applicants are women entrepreneurs in Karnataka in the last 3 years - higher than the national average of 65%.

The Government of India has consistently endeavoured to promote the Ease of Doing Business in the country. The Deregulation of offences under the Companies Act, 2013, has reduced litigation burden and enabled better compliance for companies.

Replying to a Lok Sabha question by MP Shri , the Government informed that in 2019, 16 compoundable offences were shifted to an In-house Adjudication Mechanism.

In 2020, 35 more compoundable offences were de-criminalized & in 11 compoundable offences, provisions for imprisonment were removed and only fines were retained.
