We are pleased to share the successful completion of a meaningful healthcare initiative organized by Rotary E-Connect.

•A total of 54 senior citizens were enrolled today for the Ayushman Vandana Card through the support of Vaya Vikas.
•In addition, Dementia Screening was conducted by the Dementia India Alliance, which helped raise awareness and enable early detection among seniors.

This impactful camp was led by our Club Secretary, Rtn. Parvathi, whose efforts ensured smooth coordination and ex*****on. We are also very proud of our Interactor from the Interact Club of Bengaluru Youth for being at the forefront in helping create awareness in Nisarga Layout and for assisting during the camp today.

Summer Camp at Muthrayanaswamy Doddi Government Primary School by our Interact Club of Redbridge.

Meet Lakshmi, a young student at Muthrayanaswamy Doddi Government Lower Primary School in Bengaluru, eager to learn but with limited access to engaging resources and exposure.
For students like Lakshmi, learning often remains confined to textbooks, with little opportunity for interactive education, creative expression, or community interaction.
That’s when the Interact Club of Redbridge International Academy, in collaboration with Rotary eConnect, stepped in after being invited by the government school students themselves. They designed a summer camp that brought students together through interactive sessions in English, Mathematics, and Environmental Science, while also encouraging creativity through art, play, and collaborative activities.

A large-scale donation drive by Redbridge students and families ensured the distribution of books, toys, and essential stationery. The camp also introduced sustainability through hands-on learning, teaching children to upcycle waste using materials like plastic bottles, along with planting saplings in recycled pots to bring greenery. To leave a lasting impact, the Interactors also painted vibrant murals and contributed to improving the overall school environment.

Today, Lakshmi’s classroom feels different. Learning is more engaging, creativity has found space, and the school reflects a renewed sense of pride, joy, and possibility.

We aim to bring many more such summer camps to schools like this, with the continued support of Redbridge International Academy and the passionate Interactors of Redbridge.

Rotary E‑Connect donated a collection of filmmaking books to Yelahanka GFGC to support students pursuing media and visual arts. The books were contributed to enhance the institution’s learning resources and provide aspiring filmmakers with valuable guidance on film craft, production techniques, and storytelling. The college administration expressed appreciation for the thoughtful contribution, noting that the materials will benefit students across media and communication programs. This initiative reflects Rotary E‑Connect’s ongoing commitment to strengthening educational opportunities and empowering young learners through access to quality academic resources. We thank our club member Rtn Mohan for this contribution.

💧 RO Drinking Water Project Successfully Inaugurated 💧

Rotary E‑Connect is proud to share the successful inauguration of our RO Drinking Water Project, a sustainable initiative aimed at improving community health through access to clean and safe drinking water.

The project journey involved overcoming several challenges, including administrative procedures and coordination with the local Panchayat for water and electricity supply. Despite these delays, consistent efforts and the strong support of our donors helped us break through these obstacles and bring the project to fruition.

The RO unit is now fully operational and provides 25 litres of purified drinking water for just ₹5, ensuring affordability and dignity for villagers while promoting better health outcomes. This coin‑operated model also ensures long‑term sustainability and community ownership.

This initiative aligns with Rotary’s commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Clean Water and Sanitation, and stands as a powerful example of what collective effort can achieve.
