Summer is setting in and the grass in the drought prone North Bangalore is drying up fast.

The cows of Paramparika Goshala will be soon facing their most dreaded months of the year.

A naati cow needs 5 kilos of green fodder per day for a balanced healthy diet. The grass they graze upon everyday for this supplement is drying up and the 45 cows are now picking on the last few green blades of grass available.

Uday, the owner of the Goshala, appeals to all the residents of the locality to donate segregated green kitchen waste to the goshala to help keep the cows well nourished even during this difficult season. Pea peels, vegetable and fruit peels and any other clean kitchen waste would be a great source of nutrition for these Goumata's and their babies.

Call or text Uday on +919480232375 for more info on how you could help.
