After marriage, she entered a farming household with no prior experience in agriculture. She worked as a laborer, earning just ₹200 per hour, and soon discovered a local women’s farming group that provided valuable insights. However, her in-laws discouraged her from attending these meetings. Determined to learn and grow, she convinced her family and found a way to participate, despite facing opposition.

This decision proved to be life-changing. Recognizing the potential of social media, she started a Facebook group with 400 women from her village. Today, this initiative has expanded into two large communities with over 1 million women farmers across India. Through these groups, women share farming techniques, discuss crop pricing, and gain financial independence, enabling them to make informed decisions about their livelihoods.
