Solidarity Youth Movement Karnataka organized its State-Level Youth Leadership Meet at Tarikere. The gathering was addressed by Dr. Mohammed Saad Belgami (State President, JIH Karnataka), Labeed Shafi (State Secretary, JIH Karnataka), Masihuzzama Ansari (Chairman, National Federation of Youth Movement), and Dr. Naseem Ahmed (State President, Solidarity), along with the State Secretaries, were also present at the meeting, which brought together young leaders from across the state.

Mohammad Yusuf Kanni, State Secretary of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Karnataka, stated:
"Many girls suffered when the hijab ban was imposed. Now that the Congress government has lifted the ban, I welcome this decision; it is a very good step. The government had earlier promised to reconsider decisions of the previous government that were not accepted by the public. After three years, this ban has finally been removed. Karnataka has always been an example of communal harmony. Earlier, too, people from different faiths had opposed the hijab ban. Now that it has been withdrawn, there is a sense of happiness among the people."

کرناٹکا حکومت کی جانب سے کالجوں میں طالبات کو حجاب کے ساتھ تعلیم حاصل کرنے کی اجازت دینے کا اعلان ایک نہایت خوش آئند، انصاف پسند اور آئینی اقدار کے مطابق فیصلہ ہے۔ ہم وزیر اعلیٰ سدارامیا اور حکومتِ کرناٹکا کے اس مثبت اقدام کا دل کی گہرائیوں سے استقبال کرتے ہیں۔ کرناٹکا ہمیشہ مختلف تہذیبوں، زبانوں اور مذاہب کے حسنِ امتزاج کی علامت رہا ہے۔ ایسے فیصلے سماج کو تقسیم نہیں بلکہ جوڑنے کا کام کرتے ہیں۔
آج ضرورت اس بات کی ہے کہ تعلیم کو سیاست اور نفرت سے دور رکھا جائے، اور ہر طالب علم کو بغیر خوف و امتیاز اپنی تعلیم مکمل کرنے کے مساوی مواقع فراہم کئے جائیں۔
