A review meeting of projects in was held on 02 June 2026 under the chairmanship of Shri Anil Choudhary, IRSE, Member (Projects), to assess the progress of ongoing and completed highway projects in the RO Bengaluru region.
The meeting focused on project implementation, pending works, DPR status, maintenance preparedness for the upcoming monsoon, and measures to ensure timely delivery of critical infrastructure projects.

NHAI invites participation for the one-day conference on “Best Practices for Highway Operation and Maintenance” being organized on 30th May 2026 from 10:00 AM onwards at NHAI Headquarters, New Delhi.
The conference will bring together senior officials, policy experts, consultants, contractors, concessionaires, and industry stakeholders to deliberate on modern maintenance methodologies, operational strategies, pavement preservation techniques, lifecycle optimization, and innovative data-driven approaches for National Highway infrastructure.
The platform aims to encourage knowledge sharing and exchange of best practices focused on improving the quality, sustainability, efficiency, and long-term performance of highway assets across the country.
