3 JKAP IR, 9 JKAP IR and 21 JKAP IR Battalions Celebrate International Yoga Day at Parihaspora, Pattan.
June 21: The 3 JKAP IR, 9 JKAP IR and 21 JKAP IR Battalions jointly celebrated International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm at Parihaspora, Pattan. Officers and personnel actively participated in the yoga session, reaffirming their commitment to physical fitness, mental well-being and a healthy lifestyle.
Observed under this year's theme, "Yoga for Healthy Ageing," the event highlighted the importance of yoga in promoting longevity, vitality and emotional resilience. The participants emphasized integrating yoga into daily life to achieve holistic wellness, inner peace and sustainable healthy living.
The programme concluded on an inspiring note, with participants pledging to make yoga an integral part of their daily routine and carry forward the message of health, harmony and well-being.

21 JKAP IR Conducts plantation Drive on the eve of 'World Environment Day'

Parihaspora, June 05, 2026: On the occasion of 'World Environment Day' 21 JKAP IR Battalion conducted extensive tree plantation drives under the Civic Action Programme (CAP) at multiple locations across District Baramulla and Bandipora, including Parihaspora Pattan, Check Mantrigam, Ajas Bandipora, and Hajin Bandipora.
The initiative was carried out with the objective of creating a green, safe, and healthy environment while strengthening environmental awareness among police personnel. A large number of officers and officials of 21 JKAP IR Battalion actively participated in the plantation drives with great enthusiasm and dedication.
The programme focused on promoting environmental conservation, increasing green cover, and contributing towards sustainable ecological development. The participating personnel worked collectively to ensure successful ex*****on of the plantation activities across all locations.
During the drive, various indigenous saplings including Apple, Deodar, Neem, and Pine were planted. The initiative reflected the commitment of 21 JKAP IR Battalion towards environmental protection and ecological sustainability. Officers of the Battalion highlighted the importance of tree plantation in maintaining ecological balance, improving environmental quality, and combating the adverse effects of climate change.
The programme concluded with a collective resolve by the participating personnel to nurture and protect the planted saplings for a greener future.

IRP 21st Battalion Hosts Grand Pipping Ceremony at APC Parihaspora
Today, on 4th May 2026, the IRP 21st Battalion, APC Parihaspora, proudly organized a dignified and impressive Pipping Ceremony, marking a significant milestone in the professional journey of its personnel.
On this proud occasion, a total of 11 Assistant Sub-Inspectors were promoted to the rank of Sub-Inspectors, while 09 Head Constables were elevated to the rank of Assistant Sub-Inspectors.
The ceremony was graciously presided over by the Commandant, accompanied by other senior officers, who had the honor of adorning the promotees with their new ranks. The event was filled with a sense of pride, honor, and celebration, reflecting the hard work and dedication of the personnel.
While congratulating the promotees, the officers applauded their commitment, professionalism, and exemplary service. They encouraged them to continue performing their duties with unwavering dedication, maintaining the highest standards of discipline, integrity, and responsibility in the service of the nation.

🚔 🚓 🚨 The IRP 21 Battalion has intensified its anti-drug campaign under Nasha Mukt Abhiyaan across Baramulla and Bandipora to protect youth from substance abuse.

This initiative is part of the UT’s 100-day public welfare campaign led by Manoj Sinha. Awareness flyers are being distributed at check posts and through newspapers to reach maximum households.

The campaign focuses on educating youth about the harmful effects of drugs and encouraging community participation in reporting and prevention.

IRP 21 Battalion urges parents, teachers, and citizens to join hands in building a drug-free Jammu & Kashmir.
