Career Counseling and Felicitation Ceremony of HSLC and HS Toppers in Different Villages of Assam
Under the Hadia Mahallu Empowerment Project, a series of Career Counseling and Felicitation Programmes for HSLC and HS toppers were successfully conducted across different villages of Assam during May 2026. The initiative aimed to recognize academic excellence, motivate students to pursue higher education, and provide proper guidance regarding future career opportunities. The programmes were organized in Dhubri, Barpeta, and Goalpara regions with the participation of students, teachers, parents, and community leaders.
The first programmes were held on 17 May 2026 at Gyan Bikash Public School, Panbari (Dhubri Region) and Abu Bakr Siddique Moral School, Rangia (Barpeta Region). The events featured welcome addresses by local coordinators and motivational speeches by educational leaders. Career counseling sessions were conducted by Mujeeb Rahman Hudawi, Principal of Oxford Public School, and Abdul Sikdar Hudawi, Assistant State Program Manager, Assam, providing students with valuable guidance on higher education and career planning.
The programme was further conducted on 24 May 2026 at Kekkankuchi in Barpeta Region, where 21 students were felicitated in the presence of Ruvais Hudawi, State Program Manager. On 25 May 2026, similar programmes were organized at two centres in Goalpara Region, where the career guidance sessions were led by Ruhul Amin Hudawi, Lecturer at Darul Huda Assam Campus. The sessions helped students gain a clearer understanding of various educational and professional opportunities available to them.
Altogether, 91 students who secured outstanding results in the HSLC and HS examinations were felicitated with certificates and tokens of appreciation. The Bidaya Online Course of Hadia was also introduced at the programmes to create awareness about further learning opportunities. The initiative concluded successfully with positive feedback from participants and served as an effective platform for promoting educational excellence and career awareness among students in rural Assam.
