In keeping with the ideology of providing supplementary nutrition to the beneficiaries of the Anganwadi centres under the umbrella of Social Welfare, an award ceremony was commemorated today at Kalakshetra, Guwahati. The ceremony was chaired by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Assam, Hon'ble Minister, Social Welfare, Assam along with the senior officials of the Social Welfare Department.
In the list of districts which showed a remarkable performance, Barpeta district was also showered with an award for "the innovative district in Amar Anganwadi Kendra Campaign"
