Here's a fun knowledge!
Everybody knows the quote by Lord Krishna, "Now, I am become death, the destroyer of worlds" to the great warrior and archer of Mahabharat, Arjun which is later quoted many times by the famous nuclear scientist, J. Robert Oppenheimer, the Father of Atomic Bomb. But do you know why Krishna said such a strong line?
Well many people who saw Oppenheimer, thought that it is related to Krishna referring to the boon to use Brahmastra or Brahmasheera Astra which can destroy the entire world or even the universe as everybody was relating to Oppenheimer inventing Atomic Bomb. But that's not the truth!
You see, Lord Krishna was the epitome or Life and Karma. To Him, Karma was the ultimate path to preserve Dharm in the society by whatever means necessary. And why did he mean that? Because he was the ultimate life and death, the ultimate reality. With those words, he actually explained to Arjun that all the lives and all the deaths are his creation and destruction where Arjun was just a pawn, a dutiful soldier who would fulfil his duty as a warrior and preserve Dharm. Krishna showed to Arjun his divine self and told him that he was time itself and life and death are all related to Him, the one and ultimate Reality. So that, Arjun does not move out of his ways, his duties to preserve Dharm. So, now you know, that the above quote is not about any weaponry but His ultimate presence.
