All Nursing Officers and Paramedic Officers of are on the 3rd day of Black Badge Protest against the alleged monopolistic and illegal actions of the Registrar (OAS).

The Government is humbly requested to transfer her at the earliest to restore harmony and a healthy working environment in the hospital.

Black Badge Protest at

The Nursing Officers, Paramedic Officers and all Allied Staff of SLN MCH, Koraput are observing a Black Badge against the monopolistic and high-handed actions of the Registrar(OAS).

Earlier, keeping in view patient care and the smooth functioning of the hospital, the staff had voluntarily postponed their token 14 days ago in the larger public interest.

However, repeated harassment and arbitrary actions by the Registrar have created an unhealthy and disturbed working environment.

We respectfully urge the Government to immediately transfer the Registrar in order to restore harmony, ensure smooth administration and safeguard the interest of patient care at SLN MCH, Koraput.

Members of the Odisha Nursing Employees Association across various districts and MCHs celebrated International Nurses Day, commemorating the birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale — the Lady with the Lamp and Founder of Modern Nursing.

On this meaningful occasion, Nursing Officers voluntarily donated blood in the welfare of the public at various camps organized by ONEA branches across the state.

The General Council Meeting of ONEA was conducted successfully on dt.02.02.2025 at Bhubaneswar. We had productive discussions in presence of all representatives of Odisha Nursing Employees Association on key issues affecting our community and have outlined critical demands of Nursing Officers that need urgent attention. We urge the Government to take immediate action to address 10point charter of demands earlier submitted to the Govt. for the betterment of all Nursing Officers.
