Construction of the Bargarh Town road is nearing completion. Shri. Abanikanta Das, GM-II, OBCC Odisha along with SPM, Balangir & concerned AEE of R&B Subdivision recently inspected the progress of bridge construction and junction improvement work underway.

As part of the Redevelopment of Suando Village, the birthplace of Utkalamani Gopabandhu Das, the construction of village temple & a museum depicting his life and contributions to Odisha is underway. Er. P.C Mohapatra, GM-I, inspected the site to assess the progress so far.

Shri. Abanikanta Das, GM-II, OBCC Odisha & SPM, Balangir inspected the Bridge to be constructed at Hariharjor Nallah at 5/5 Km of Birmaharajpur-Amrapali. The final design of the bridge has been issued. With a 32.60 cr. budget, it is being constructed under NABARD assistance. The GM also inspected Gunguni Nallah at 12/050 Km of Birmaharajpur- Amrapali road. A minor bridge will be constructed on the Nallah. The bore log data have been submitted to the Director of Design and the general arrangement drawing for the same is in progress.

Today morning, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Dr Krishan Kumar, Works Department, Government of Odisha reviewed development of along with officials of OBCC and Works Department. The Phase 1 work nearing completion. Focus on quality and area improvements.

Today Cultural Advisory Committee meeting was held at OBCC Odisha to discuss the design proposals for Shree Jagannatha Ballabha Pramod Udyana and Gundicha Temple projects. The meeting was chaired by Gajapati Maharaj, Shri Dibyasingha Deb.

Shri Sachidananda Maharaj, Jhanjipita Matha, Puri, Dr. Subas Ch. Pani, Ex Chief Secretary, Odisha, Dr. Harekrishna Satapathy, VC, KISS, Dr. B.K. Rath, former Superintendent, Odisha State Archaeology department attended the meeting.

Shri Raghunath Mohapatra, Padma Vibhushan, Architect & Sculptor and Shri. J.K. Das, MD were also present at the CAC meeting.
