Dr. Rabi Narayan Patnaik – A Financial Wizard of Financial Operations, Finance & Accounting, Fund management, Budgeting and Financial Control of Odisha – left for his heavenly abode today on November 15, 2018 at 2.30 AM. Dr. Patnaik was a Fellow of Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India since 1986 and obtained Doctor of Philosophy in Commerce in March, 1994. During 35 Years of his active service, he served in Paradeep Port Trust for over 8 Years, Royal Government of Bhutan for 2 Years, Odisha State Housing Board for over 13 Years, Delhi Development Authority for over 3 Years and NMDC for over 8 Years and was retired on 31st October, 2013. After retirement, he was serving as Independent Director of M/s. Pipavav Railway Corporation Ltd. He was also serving as Chief Finance Officer & Chief Administrative Officer at WAPCOS, PMC, Bhubaneswar since 15th May, 2015 till his last breath and established Record of Success in growing Enterprise Value with his proven ability to improve operations through Cost Reduction, Internal Control and Finance Management.
WAPCOS Family deeply mourns his sad demise today on November 15, 2018 and Prays Lord Jagannath to bless his soul rest in peace.
