Under the **ABADHA Scheme**, OBCC has completed the **Ratha Godown & Staff Quarters Project**, developed for the systematic storage of chariot components and improved residential facilities for staff.

The project includes a dedicated **G+1 Ratha Godown/Storage Building** for storing the equipment and wooden components of the three sacred chariots — **Nandighosha, Taladhwaja and Darpadalana** — after their dismantling.

Designed with practical and long-term utility in mind, the facility features truck-accessible movement, motorised rolling shutters, an open wood deposit platform, firefighting provisions, and a **5 Ton Gantry Crane** for safe lifting, loading, unloading and stacking.

The project also includes **D-Type and E-Type Staff Quarters**, providing accommodation for around **48 families**. With internal roads, parking, boundary wall, stormwater drainage, water supply systems, modular STP, CCTV, rooftop solar panels, solar street lighting and landscaping, the completed project brings together functionality, safety, sustainability and staff welfare.

Through this ABADHA project, OBCC continues to contribute to infrastructure that respects Odisha’s living traditions while strengthening facilities for the future.

The Integrated Development of Lokanath Temple & Parbati Sagar at Puri under the ABADHA scheme is now nearing completion, bringing new life to one of Odisha’s most revered spiritual destinations.

With every pathway, every restored edge and every revitalised public space, the project seeks to preserve the divine essence of the temple while creating a more seamless and enriching experience for devotees.

🏟️⚽ A New Sporting Destination for Kendrapara

OBCC is undertaking the construction of a modern Football Academy at Aul in Kendrapara district — a significant step towards strengthening sports infrastructure and nurturing grassroots talent in Odisha.

The academy is envisioned as a vibrant sporting space featuring a full-sized football ground, player facilities, seating gallery, cricket practice pitches, parking facilities and landscaped surroundings designed to support both athletes and the community.

More than a project, this development represents aspiration, opportunity and the spirit of teamwork. By creating accessible sporting infrastructure, Odisha continues to encourage youth participation, fitness and community engagement through sports.

OBCC is undertaking the Development & Upgradation of the Fishing Harbour at Dhamara, Bhadrak, aimed at creating modern infrastructure for the fishing ecosystem.

With Phase–I successfully completed and Phase–II progressing steadily, the project is set to enhance operational efficiency, improve safety, and support the livelihoods of local fishing communities.

Work is progressing rapidly on the Second HL Bridge over Baitarani River, , and the project is now nearing completion 🌉

This vital bridge will transform connectivity between Salapada and Anandapur, improving safety, mobility and economic opportunities for the region.

Hon’ble Minister of Law, Works & Excise, Government of Odisha, Prithviraj Harichandan, carried out a comprehensive review of the Integrated Development of the Birthplace of Utkal Gourav Madhusudan Das at Satyabhamapur, Cuttack on 1st April 2026.

During the visit, the Hon’ble Minister assessed the progress of the project and directed officials to ensure completion within the stipulated timeline. He further stressed that the aesthetics and overall architectural character of the project must remain aligned with the original historic structures.

MLA, Mahanga Assembly Constituency, Sarada Prasad Padhan, senior officials of OBCC and the contractor were present during the review.

OBCC remains committed to delivering infrastructure that preserves Odisha’s heritage while strengthening public assets for future generations.
