Team CAMAL from KIIT Robotics Society secured the #1/100+🌟 spot at the BioCraft event in the annual techno-management fest, Ksh*tij hosted by Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur IIT Kharagpur
At Biocraft hosted on January 19th to 21st, 2024, Team CAMAL revealed their groundbreaking prototype in Transcatheter Mitral Valve Replacement (TMVR). Their innovative anchoring system, developed in collaboration with IIT-KGP and Sahajanand Medical Technologies Pvt Ltd (SMT), garnered industry recognition and attention for its potential to revolutionise cardiac care.
Our Team CAMAL, formed with Sabrin Mirza, Souravjit Bal, Srijonee Koley, Sudeep Patra and Anabik Chatterjee, designed a breakthrough working model inspired by a lotus!🪷
Its potential to redefine cardiac care caught the attention of the judges.

A rocket forged to PVC pipes and water bottle nozzles, and propelled skyward with water pressure ONLY? Challenge accepted
Snehodeep Das and Parijaat of the KRS family donned their work gloves, threw down the gauntlet, and made a huge splash🌊 by seizing 2nd place🥈in the Water Rocket Challenge at the Space Defence Expo of Samavesh-X-Vassaunt, the annual techno-cultural festival of VSS University of Technology, Burla.
Watching the home-brewed rocket take flight was a bedazzling sight indeed! The event was held between the 23rd and 25th of March 2024, and allowed our team to hone their technical expertise, obtain invaluable experience, and demonstrate that:
