Odisha Tourism The Department of Tourism & Culture (Tourism) under the Government of Odisha, India came into being on 30th December, 1995.

The Tourism Wing of this Department is looked after by the Directorate of Tourism. There are 36 Tourist
Offices (33 inside the state of Orissa and 3 outside), 6 Tourist Counters (3 inside the state and 3 outside) and 38 Tourist lodges for assisting tourists. A Public Sector undertaking namely, Orissa Tourism Development Corporation Ltd. under the administrative control of the Department of Tourism
