যেভাবে তদন্ত প্রক্রিয়া বিপথে ও বিলম্বিত করার পর আজ যখন শুনলাম RG kar এর চেস্ট Dept সংস্কারের নামে ভাঙা হচ্ছে , আমরা নিশ্চিত প্রমান লোপাটের যে আশঙ্কা আমরা করেছিলাম তা দৃঢ় হচ্ছে। কাল সকাল 10 টায় CBI তদন্তভার গ্রহণ করার আগেই সব কাজ সেরে ফেলা হচ্ছে।
এই অবস্থায় আমরা মানুষের কাছে অগ্রিম ক্ষমা চেয়ে কাল পশ্চিমবঙ্গের চিকিৎসক সমাজ আগামী কাল সকাল 8 টা থেকে বিকেল 4 টে পর্যন্ত Out door ও অজরুরী পরিষেবা বন্ধ রাখতে বাধ্য হচ্ছি সমস্ত সরকারি, বেসরকারি হাসপাতালে ও ব্যক্তিগত চেম্বারে।

আশা করি জনগন বুঝতে পারছেন কেন আমরা এই কঠিন সিদ্ধান্ত নিতে বাধ্য হলাম , আপনারা আমাদের সঙ্গে থাকুন । ।

Today's news regarding the "urgent" repair work being carried out in the Chest Dept, RG Kar MCH has, given the way the entire investigation was being delayed and diverted, only confirmed our worst suspicions, that there was a concerted effort to tamper with the evidence of the crime.

This is surely an effort to tie up any remaining loose ends before the CBI takes up the investigation from 10am tomorrow morning.

Given this background, and with advance apologies to people, the entire doctor community of West Bengal hereby announces a complete stoppage of all OPD
and non-emergency services from 8am to 4pm tomorrow, in all Govt and private hospitals, as well as individual chambers.

We hope the public will understand the reasons and compulsions behind this decision, which we have reluctantly taken. Please bear with us.
