‘अक्षय’ का अर्थ है — जो कभी समाप्त न हो…
ऐसा माना जाता है कि आज के दिन किया गया हर शुभ कार्य,
हर दान, हर पूजा — अनंत पुण्य फल देता है।

पुराणों के अनुसार:
✨ आज ही के दिन
Lord Krishna
ने पांडवों को अक्षय पात्र प्रदान किया था —
जो कभी खाली नहीं होता।

✨ इसी दिन महाभारत की रचना का शुभारंभ हुआ।

आज के दिन सोना खरीदना शुभ माना जाता है,
लेकिन असली महत्व है —
दान, सेवा और धर्म के मार्ग पर चलना। 🌸

Akshaya Tritiya — An auspicious day that never diminishes*
‘Akshaya’ means that which never decreases or decays. Akshaya Tritiya is one of the most auspicious days in the Hindu calendar.
It is believed that actions started and items purchased on this day lead to success and infinite auspicious results. Buying gold is especially significant on this day — it is a symbol of wealth and eternal fortune.
Starting events like weddings, new businesses, and pilgrimages on this day is considered very propitious. Since both the Sun and the Moon are in their exalted positions on the third day (Tritiya) of the bright fortnight (Shukla paksha) of the Vaishakha month, this day is considered a complete Muhurta (auspicious time) day.
According to the Puranas:
The composition of the Mahabharata began on this day.
SRI Krishna gifted the ‘Akshaya Patra’ (an inexhaustible vessel) to the Pandavas.
Worship of Lord Mahavishnu, fasting, and charity hold great significance on this day. Donating rice, ghee, sugar, clothes, and fruits is considered meritorious.
In modern times, though we place more emphasis on buying gold, charity and righteous deeds (Dharma) are the true significance of this day
