Public health research often provides valuable insights and solutions to health problems, but without effective implementation, these insights may not translate into real-world benefits.
I am proud to share insights of implementation done through our research project titled "Convergence of Initiative of Various Social Security Schemes implemented by Punjab Government Integrated Training Program of Street Vendors in the Urban Local Bodies with a special focus on Street Food Hygiene" initiated by our Principal investigator Dr. poonam khanna (Additional Professor), Department of Community Medicine and School of Public Health, Funded by Local Government Punjab.
Special thanks to the project team for conducting the ground-level survey in Ludhiana, Jalandhar, and Amritsar Districts to check the effectiveness of our training program.

ਸਰਦੂਲਗੜ 17 ਸਤੰਬਰ ( ਸੰਜੀਵ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਸਿੰਗਲਾ ) ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਤੇ ਅੱਜ ਨਗਰ ਪੰਚਾਇਤ ਵਿਖੇ ਪੀ.ਜੀ.ਆਈ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਦੀ ਟੀਮ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਡੇ-ਨੂਲਮ ਤੇ ਸਵਨਿਧੀ ਸਕੀਮ ਤਹਿਤ ਸਟਰੀਟ ਵੈਂਡਰ ਆਦਿ ਦਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਕੀਮਾਂ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਅਤੇ ਰੇਹੜੀਆਂ ਕੋਲ ਸਾਫ਼-ਸਫਾਈ ਰੱਖਣ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਕੈਂਪ ਕਰਵਾ ਕੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਤੇ ਸਿਖਲਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਟੀਫਿਕੇਟ ਅਤੇ ਕਿੱਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੰਡ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਕੈਂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੀ.ਜੀ.ਆਈ. ਤੋਂ ਮੈਡਮ ਤੇ ਹੈਪੀ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਜਿੰਦਲ ਕਾਰਜ ਸਾਧਕ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ,ਭੋਜ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੋਡਲ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ,ਚਿਤਵਨ ਕੌਰ ਸੀ.ਐਮ.ਐਮ,ਹਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਸੀ.ਓ.ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਦਫ਼ਤਰੀ ਸਟਾਫ਼ ਹਾਜਰ ਸਨ। ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਆਏ ਸਟਰੀਟ ਵੈਂਡਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਹ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਰਿਫਰੈਸ਼ਮੈਂਟ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਨੌਡਲ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਵੱਲੋ ਸਮੂਹ ਸਟਰੀਟ ਵੈਂਡਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਕਿ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਕੈਪਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ 100% ਹਾਜਰੀ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਈ ਜਾਵੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਮਿਲਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਸਹੂਲਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਲਾਭ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ ਆਖਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਰਜ ਸਾਧਕ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਵੱਲ਼ੋ ਸਾਰਿਆ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਫਾਈ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।
